Garlic, variety "Mancino"
This garlic was first found 15 years ago on our farm. The wild garlic patch stands down by the stream - abundant, vibrant, and healthy. Adam was walking and noticed a larger head amongst its family members, pulled it, and we have been growing it out ever since. The flavor is deeply garlic but not sharp or overbearing ... friends and family that love it, swear by it, and buy what they can because they know we do not keep it available for long. Raw in olive oil for dipping fresh bread, cooking at the end of your recipe will enhance flavors - not overrun, and planting it out in your garden are all ways of working with this beautiful medicine!
